This beautiful new storybook introduces the very young to the wonder of a child growing in his mother's womb and to the constant presence of a child's guardian angel. Regina Doman has created this original story by imagining the conversations that take place between the tiny child and his angel as the child grows and is finally born. The story is utterly charming and introduces a sense of supernatural wonder into the process of pregnancy. Regina Doman is a mother of five and the author of Shadow of the Bear and Black as Night. She was inspired to write this by what her youngest sister said when, aged less than two, she was asked if she could remember being in her mother's womb. She replied, "It was warm, and dark, and there was an angel there."

Megan on
A well written book using simple yet very beautiful language; an ideal present for expectant parents, a newborn and/or their parents or a younger child (especially a child with a sibling on the way).

The book tells a lovely story on the experience of an unborn child (from the child's perspective) and the relationship with an angel that accompanies them. The story is told WITHOUT detailing the processes of conception or childbirth, making it *totally suitable for children of all ages* (and without making even the most shyest of adults uncomfortable).

You really need to read this book to appreciate it and you are sure to have a better appreciation for the young having read it. It is listed as being suitable for children from 2 to 4 years, but everyone will get something out of this story. It is the kind of thing that become's one's *trademark* present.
