The Arctic Incident is the second book in the Artemis Fowl series. When the LEP catch the B'wa Kell Goblin Triad trading with the Mud Men, (ie. humans,) Captain Holly Short is certain that it is her old nemesis Artemis Fowl. But Artemis has problems enough of his own, his father has been kidnapped by the Russian Mafia and Artemis has only a few days to save him. As an apology, Holly and her Commander Julius Root agree to help. Meanwhile back in Haven, things have gone from bad to worse.....
