Born just outside London in 1949, Andrew was the youngest of three children. He left grammar school at the age of eighteen, having performed and behaved, as he puts it, abysmallyA". Almost by chance, he found work at the famous Bow Street magistrates' court in London, which marked the beginning of a career spanning 37 years that took him to various parts of the country and saw him called to the Bar in 1978. Sensing that every human being has a deep spirituality led him as a young adult to investigate the teachings of many of the major religions. He also studied and practised yoga and meditation. Marshall resides in Stafford.
