About the Author

Shaney Andler is a teacher and mom whose son has struggled with mental health. Her experiences led her to start a nonprofit dedicated to nurturing teen mental health at the local high school. Back Pocket came to fruition after witnessing many teens and parents struggling with "what to do next." It delivers immediate help to kids in a state of emotional need as an easy, everyday tool that can be used by anyone at any time. Shaney lives with her family in Verona, Wisconsin.
