Tony Grice has been playing and coaching nationally and internationally for 29 years. He was ranked as high at 11th nationwide in men's doubles and 15th in singles. At the master's level, he won the 1998 U.S. National Championship in Master's Men's Singles, as well as the 1998 and 1999 National Championship in Master's Men's Doubles. At the 2003 National Senior Games, he finished second in Badminton singles and doubles. He has traveled as a national coach and trainer (1987 World Championships), as well as performed as the exercise physiologist for the national team (1988-1989).
