Dr. Unseld Robinson, an educator, and author of the Bayside Bunch Series, creating children's books that promote kindness and diversity in the storylines. For the past 20 years, Dr. Robinson has been helping children learn about character development and positive relationships. Dr. Robinson includes relatable characters that children know and a school environment that they will recognize immediately. By building relatable characters and real-world scenarios, this series encourages reading and helps children assess their behavior through the eyes and ears of the characters. Dr. Robinson believes that children should have access to stories that feature characters like them, creating an inclusive world for them to read and learn within. In addition, relatable characters give children a better chance to connect with the message and learn from the story, helping them get the most from every book and providing them with a sense of belonging. The Bayside Bunch series specializes in urban children's stories that reflect modern America.
