PROFILE OF J. J. MEDNEY Received both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in finance from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Laws from St. John's University. Later, admitted as an attorney in the State of New York. As for military service, flew with the 94th Bomber Group and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. Have represented listed companies ranging from General Electric to ITT (when it controlled Avis, Sheraton and Hartford Insurance) to American Realty & Petroleum. By the same token, I have handled numerous small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and am well aware of their burden in securing product, obtaining financing, recruiting staff, generating customers and operating a business with limited funds. Have built, owned and managed multiple operations in 10 states with corporate offices in New York City and Atlanta. Have given numerous Seminar Presentations nationally ranging from N.Y. Professional Groups to the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce to Las Vegas visitors. Have written a multitude of articles appearing in such diverse publications as the N.Y. Times and the N.Y. Law Journal. My first book was a national best selling paperback titled YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE RICH TO MAKE BIG MONEY IN REAL ESTATE. Although no longer in print, copies can still be located via a Google search. My latest book BE SMARTER THAN A CEO IN 30 DAYS captures the essence of what makes a company grow and turn profitable. It will guide the reader to reach the next level of personal business excellence.
