I heartily recommend this journal - bought it as a treat for myself! It is a light-hearted companion for your special journey. Practically, its spiral binding means the pages are flat for easy completion, and I love the modern styling and elastic to keep it closed. It's free of pregnancy information, instead containing prompted questions (on fun topics), and a few lines of free spaces for you to record your thoughts. It doesn't specifically prompt you about your hopes/fears but more focuses on things like tiredness, morning sickness, cravings, aversions, maternity clothes, changing appearance, pre-natal visits and scans. Each week there is space for a photo of your belly, so if you don't intend taking photos of your 'belly' along the way, you'll have lots of empty spaces. It is chronological, and assumes your baby arrives in week 40, so if you're overdue, you might have to use the back of another page to record your thoughts! I like that it doesn't contain photos of other mothers and babies like many of its competitors. This is a special momento I'm sure you'll treasure.
