About the Author

Dr Abdelfattah Abusrour was born and raised in Aida camp. He and a group of friends established Alrowwad in Aida camp, Bethlehem. A lecturer at Bethlehem University, actor, playwright and artist, he continues to run the centre and has a large social media following.

Manal Odeh combines running the women's unit in Alrowwad centre with raising her four children. She studied maths at university and is a qualified maths teacher. Compiled by Melissa Scott who co-authored Dictators' Dinners.
