I have read several positive reviews elsewhere, but I found that the negative aspects of this book far outweigh the positive. Boys will enjoy the gross humour and facts, but the suggestions for humiliationg practical jokes (filling your mum's shampoo bottle with pancake syrup; tricking a friend so that it looks like he has wet his pants and then make sure everyone notices) and the recommendation of ways to smart talk back to bullies should concern parents. There are several other similar books on the market that offer the fun bits without the rubbish. If I could give a rating lower than one star, I would. This edition is touted as a 'handbook for Aussie boys', but the only adaptation seems to be changing from US to UK spelling. Entries still refer to obviously American customs and phrases.
