After retiring from multiple careers in carpentry, construction, custom homebuilding, and locksmithing, Tim Detweiler decided to combine his passions for woodworking and locks to create custom hand-made wooden locks. Detweiler's locks have won countless woodworking competitions and have been featured in the magazines Woodshop News and The National Locksmith. He is the author of two previous lock project books, Making Working Wooden Locks and Making More Working Wooden Locks.
