About the Author

The Big House works with care leavers and those who are at a high risk of social exclusion, providing a platform for them to participate in the making of theatre and to have their voices heard. Through the use of performance and long-term wraparound support, The Big House unleashes their members’ creative potential, builds their aspirations and supports them into the next stage of their life. The Big House collaborates with exciting freelance theatre professionals to put on award-winning and critically acclaimed productions. The Big House works tirelessly to improve access to the creative industry for underrepresented groups, and has launched some thriving careers in theatre, film and TV.
