About the Author

Rheadrea' (Ray-dree-uh) Monet is from Washington, DC. She is a well-traveled "military brat" and the single child to a single mother. Rae enjoys being in nature (as long as it's not too close) and out by the water (literally, any water...a lake, a river, hell, a leaky pipe outside of her house will do). She also enjoys roller coasters and road trips; she even wants to go bungee jumping and skydiving! Rae takes pride in being open-minded, understanding, and accepting; this makes her a great friend. But her one true love is divided between a pencil (or pen) and a sheet of paper. It's there that she can divulge her innermost secrets. It's the place where she can decode society's hypocrisies. That's the place where her words are no longer hers, but the reader's words, where it can help to heal them both. Oh yeah, she also loves dogs...and cats...and basically all animals in general.
