No. 1 for exam success
English is not my son's forte though somehow he appears to come either top or near the top in comprehension every time. He has some issues relating to dyslexia and when actually asked for an opinion about the piece struggles. He is a young (9) year 5 and he is finding the comprehension passages difficult. They are meant to be year 3 (I chose this level as I thought he would gain confidence if he did well) but I would say they are aimed at a high achieving year 3. He is still persevering though because the questions are very varied and he does well in the non comprehension exercises. I would recommend this book as if we get to the end I feel he will have learned a lot. Amazon review The best start in life is education and this does not get any better in preparing the kids for testing. Improving their ability to read and understand instructions outside of school.
