About the Author

Helene M DeWitt first began writing in her thirties, finding it comforting to write out her painful experiences, abuse and neglect down on paper. She hopes that by sharing her story, others can walk through her life with her, share in her deliverance, and demonstrate that people can recover and thrive.

In her spare time, she enjoys crafts such as painting acrylic Christmas houses and even some gardening. She also does PowerPoints for a Bible teacher who teaches her studies online and remains a faithful member of the Presbyterian Church. She currently is enjoying retired life with her husband.
