The best part of this book is that the diagrams and descriptions for making the weaves are clear and helpful.

Unfortunately, one of the most important aspects of chain maille weaving is left to an appendix: Aspect Ratio. This means that, unless the reader has rings the exact same size as those used by the author, a beginner is left at sea, and doesn't know why their weave doesn't look the way that it should. Also, it would have made more sense to put European 4-in-1 earlier in the book, as it is one of the easiest weaves of all.

I would not recommend this book for a beginner, and if someone isn't a beginner, they don't need this book.
