About the Author

Cyndi O'Meara lives on Queensland's Sunshine Coast with her husband and three children. She is not your typical nutritionist- she disagrees with low-fat, low-calorie diets; she thinks chocolate can be good for you and coffee is not so bad; she loves butter; she is the one out of ten nutritionists who does not recommend a certain breakfast cereal; and she thinks cheating and eating yummy foods are all part of a well-balanced diet. Cyndi must be doing something right because she maintains a healthy weight and has never taken an antibiotic, pain-killer or any other form of medication. Her children are aged 8, 10 and 12 and they too have had no need for medications. Cyndi's qualifications include a Bachelor of Science, postgraduate studies in human anatomy, and diplomas in diagnosis and management of health issues. This book is fabulous. Excellent simple advice. Excellent recipes. Takes the mystery out of making important food choices. I highly recommend this book if you're looking to feel beter, look better and live more consciously.

This book is really about a healthy lifestyle. It isn't against Wheat, dairy or Meat, but get the reader to look at their diet in a way that these things are not the bulk of what they eat. The bread recipe is great. Just made it and is not too costly. It is about changing one habit at a time in order to have a healthier lifestyle.
