Jonathan Pile is a 48 year old Health and Safety Consultant and lives in Yorkshire, England. He has written (like his hero Eric Blair -the writer of 1984 and Animal Farm George Orwell) for British left wing magazine Tribune. Mr Pile has spent 11 years researching previously closed University archives at Leeds, Oxford, Birmingham, Cambridge and at the National Archives & Parliament to research the complex web of private papers which reveal a complex web of clandestine support for Nazi Germany in the heart of the 1930's British Establishment. As a lifelong liberal he has sought to find answers for the Fall of Liberal England and the rise of appeasement. This is his debut book and his is currently writing his follow on book "His Majesty's Secret" for publication which expands on new exclusive evidence contained in "Churchill's Secret Enemy" which links British King George VI to a web of corruption, appeasement and pro-Nazi peace negotiation in the run up to the Second World War and later.
