Yachting Life (August 2010) 'While written by a small yacht skipper and illustrated with excellent small boat pictures, it is still of use and interest to those commanding much larger and more powerful vessels...[The author] knows his stuff and explains it clearly.' Ausmarine (July 2011) "Channel Havens' and 'Coastal Turmoil', fill the gap between pilotage manuals and pilot guides' Yachting Monthly (Nov 1st 2011)
