About the Author

Sven Hauschke (*1967), who gained his PhD in history of art at Augsburg University, is director of the Art Collections of the Veste Coburg and the European Museum of Modern Glass in Rödental, Germany, as well as curator of their works of art collection. The Veste Coburg hosts the famous Venetian Glass Collection of Prince Alfred of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, the European Museum of Modern Glass, more than 1.000 objects of contemporary glass from Germany, Europe, Asia, and America.
