MORTON WAGMAN is Professor Emeritus of Psychology at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He is the originator of the PLATO computer-based Dilemma Counseling System. His most recent books are Cognitive Science and Concepts of Mind: Toward a General Theory of Human and Artificial Intelligence (Praeger, 1991) and Artificial Intelligence and Human Congnition: A Theoretical Intercomparison of Two Realms of Intellect (Praeger, 1991), and Computer Psychotherapy Systems: Theory and Research Foundations (1988).
