EDWARD J. DALE is an independent author with an interest in philosophy, and developmental and transpersonal psychology. He is a member of the British Psychological Society, and has made recent contributions to academic journals in the fields of psychology, philosophy, and anthropology as an author and editor. He has also translated some of Piaget's work into English.
Ed Dale has written a fascinating book which should be of interest to those who are serious in studying transpersonal and spiritual development. Allan Combs, "Doshi Professor of Consciousness Studies, CIIS" Dale s "Completing Piaget s Project" is a groundbreaking book that deserves to be not only widely read and discussed, but also used as textbook in courses on transpersonal psychology, developmental theories, and the philosophy of religious pluralism. Jorge Ferrer, California Institute of Integral Studies, "Journal of Transpersonal Psychology" Its reach, range, and originality are indeed, impressive. Dale s neo-Piagetian understanding of spirituality, very much in the tradition of the Bergson who so inspired the young Piaget, warrants the attention of all those concerned with the 'living foundations of transpersonal psychology and their further development.
