About the Author

Sandi Horton took her first cooking course at the age of ten with her Junior Girl Scout Troop. She has loved cooking ever since! This cookbook was originally written as a wedding gift for her daughter. Requests for more books led to the creation of this book for public sale. Today Sandi lives in Waco, Texas with her husband and a houseful of rescue dogs, mostly Boston terriers. Every day is a culinary experience at the Horton House. Sandi has been a professional, certified educator for 25 years. She was a public school teacher and counselor for 19 years and a college instructor for 6 years. Sandi has written a blog for her local newspaper, The Waco Tribune Herald for over 7 years.
