This is a great book, and I own at leat 10 different cupcake books! Would be great for beginners, as it has sections on ingredients (did you know butter should be at room temperature?), icing techniques (including the signature swirl the bakery is famous for), and suggestions for decorating. The recipes are yummy, though a little heavy on eggs, and the plethora of icing and filling recipes are incredibly tempting. I'm off to make Nutella cupcakes right now!
