Mary Marlene has over thirty years of experience in management, training, sales, advertising, public speaking, and community program development-along with thirteen years in the Army National Guard as a Personnel Management Specialist. She has owned and operated food and clothing businesses, as well as a motivational franchise that trained management staff for businesses. She and her husband, George, have owned and operated two childcare centers, and she has mentored other childcare operators and parents. She has also contracted with Chicago public schools and was very active in the child development field for several years. Mary Marlene is the founder of Genuine Care Adult Services Center Inc., initially a senior day care focusing on integrating children and seniors together and later serving to facilitate home care workers. Additionally, Mary Marlene has volunteered to teach teens in Job Corps motivational and goal-setting skills, teach illiterate adults to read, and volunteered to spend time with the elderly for over ten years. She has studied with the Unity, Religious Science, and Christian Science philosophies. She truly from her heart wants to make a difference in mankind. With all of her experiences, Mary Marlene's goal in life is to help change the world in positive growth, one child at a time, one parent at a time, and one staff at a time. She feels that they all go into different neighborhoods, cultures, and societies, and she teaches that if they share just one thing that she has shared with them, they will help toward embarking on her goal in life. This coloring book was created to help others go within and open up their own creativity.
