Clancy established himself as an undisputed master at blending
exceptional realism and authenticity, intricate plotting, and
razor-sharp suspense. He passed away in October 2013.

Grant Blackwood is the author of the Briggs Tanner books and the
co-author along with Clive Cussler of Lost Empire, Spartan Gold and
The Kingdom. He has also co-written Dead or Alive with Tom Clancy,
and now writes novels in the Tom Clancy series alongside Mark
Greaney. Blackwood is a U.S. Navy veteran who lives in
Colorado.
