Diamond in the Sky is a great book for students of Suzuki method. It's clear style is suitable for readers 10-16 years and gives them a context for Dr. Suzuki's beliefs and teachings. It's an excellent snip of history ad really brings Suzuki's playful character to life. My students have enjoyed reading this book and it's often spurred them on to learn the difficult piece that was bugging them, or think about their practice and it'a larger relevance to their lives.
