Helena Paton-Ayre is an art historian, graphic designer and
experimental chef. Her first cookery book project, 101 Dalmatian
Recipes, was abandoned when it became clear that nobody else knows
where Dalmatia is.
Her second book, Dinner with Rover, emerged as a result of her
rescued dog Rambo’s hysterical excitement when she cooked treats
for him, and the book’s depth increased when she read the chemical
contents list of commercial dog food properly and decided not to
feed it to her best friend any more. Close consultation with
veterinary expertise adds technical authority to Dinner with Rover.
