Dr Pamela Douglas has worked in Australian general practice since
1987, with special interests in women's health and breastfeeding
medicine. She is founder of the Possums programs, also known as
Neuroprotective Developmental Care, which have been transforming
new parents' lives since 2011. Dr Douglas teaches these programs
online to health professionals through The NDC Institute. She is
also the author of over 30 international publications in the fields
of the crying baby, breastfeeding and infant sleep research.
Dr Douglas lives in Brisbane, Queensland. She has many
grandchildren, and one little great-grandchild.
