Cate Campbell Beatty is married and the mother of two. She is an attorney and lives in Los Angeles. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Cate graduated from UCLA with a degree in Economics. She received her juris doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where she was on the Dean's Honor List. The book is reflective of the intricate nature of her beliefs and draws on her unique experiences and position.
