Michael Mangan is Professor and Chair of Drama at Loughborough University, UK. He has taught English and Drama in Universities in the UK and the US, and has held chairs at the University of Wales Aberystwyth and De Montfort University. He is also a playwright and director, and has worked as a literary manager, a dramaturg and an actor. His books include Christopher Marlowe's Doctor Faustus: A Critical Study, A Preface to Shakespeare's Tragedies and Staging Masculinities: Gender, History, Performance.
