Dress Book contains 26 projects for beautiful dresses and blouses. Elegant and loose-fitting, the pieces in this book are designed to be worn in any season and are suitable for women of all ages. The easy-to-follow instructions are accompanied by detailed diagrams and gorgeous full-colour photographs. The full-sized pull-out pattern sheets have been adapted for Western sizing and run from AU 6-16. Japanese Craft books are hugely popular, with hundreds of blogs and online craft-communities devoted to their unique aesthetic and meticulous detail. Previously only accessible to Japanese-speakers and those with sewing skills advanced enough to attempt to interpret the patterns with no instruction, this translation will appeal to an already-devoted following and also engage with a whole new market.

I got this book as a gift and it is lovely. I have made one item (B) and it was easy to trace the pattern from the pattern sheets and put together following the instructions. I think it does require you to have some sewing experience as it does not give detailed info on all sewing techniques. Would recommend if you like this style of dress/top/tunic.

I love this book. Easy clear instructions and 26 designs beautifully photographed. I'd like to make pretty much every design in this book. If you like japanese style dresses/tunics/blouses then this book is a winner!
