This is a comprehensive year-round cookbook and lifestyle guide. It contains approximately 40 vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free recipes per season. It comes from Terry Walters, the most authoritative and influential name in the clean-food movement. Eat well, and you'll improve your body, your mind, your home and your life. Terry Walters, the most authoritative and influential name in the clean-food movement, has created a comprehensive year-round cookbook and lifestyle guide that empowers you to make mindful, healthy choices. Season by season, she takes you on a journey of rediscovery: in spring, clean your body with a detox, start planting and cook up Grilled Sundried Tomato and Herb Polenta. Summer brings a new exercise programme, the pursuit of fresh food at farmer's markets and farm-to-table dishes. Welcome autumn and back-to-school by packing great kids' lunches, preserving your harvest and managing stress. In winter enjoy some meditation and warm body and soul with Lentil Soup with Mango and Curry. Approximately 40 vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free recipes per season feature locally grown, organic vegetables and fruits, plus whole grains, legumes, soy, nuts and seeds.
