Page-turning thriller from the bestselling author of Tully. A heavily pregnant young woman is leaving the shopping mall to head home on a horribly hot day in Texas. Her normal life of shopping, husband, children, with the extra excitement of the imminent baby, stretches before her. And then she is bundled into a car and kidnapped by a desperate young man. What does he want? Where are they going? In scenes that alternate between the desperate husband, pursuing by car and helicopter with an alarmingly laid-back FBI man, who may or may not be as good as he thinks he is at rescuing hostages, and the more and more threatened wife, Eleven Hours is a tour de force of storytelling power from an author with a proven track-record of delivering the goods.

Read it and weep -- literally' Company Tatiana and Alexander 'This has everything a romance glutton could wish for: a bold, talented and dashing hero, a heart-stopping love affair ! I love the way this novel has been written by Paulina Simons, exactly how the title describes - in the Eleven Hours.. I could not put the book down and actually managed to read it on night before going to bed - i sacrificed a bit of good t v but it was definitley well worth it!
A very gripping story with a story line that will be bound to have you on the edge of your seat ( or Bed ).

Fantastic could not put down. Love the way this book is written 1st chapter is about the wife and what she is going through at say 8.45am and then 2nd chapter is about the husband and his ordeal at 8.45am. Keeps you on the edge of your seat to find out why would she be kidnapped and will they rescue her in time.

A must read if you love a thriller that is not to complicated but still has the suspense you want.
Sharon Miller on

A fast paced nail biting thriller.
A pregnant young woman is going about her usual daily errands when unfortunately she is in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Her husbadn tries to get help, the very casual FBI agent seems to be donig his job.... but how well.
As the terror in the book increases the so does the fast paced writing. You feel as thoughyou are rushing headlong into tyhe story with poor Didi.
Why was she taken? What does the kidnapper want? Will she be rescued in time and how will the imminent birth be?
If you enjoy a nail biting thriller with a twist, you will devour every page and it will leave you breathless.
