The author was born in Jamaica and raised in Canada. He was accepted into islam in 1972.He completed is PHD in Islamic Theology in 1994 at the University of Wales. Since 1994 has been in Dubai and Ajman. He set up and runs "Discover Islam",also a Online islamic University and was also Professor of Arabic at American University in Dubai.
