It is a powerful story of one woman's journey toward self-realization as she recognizes for the first time the level of toughness and resilience she's capable of....Cheryl Howard Crew vividly sets forth a complex view of a very complex situation and we need that since we have a government that is looking at the situation in the simplest possible terms."- Mavis Nicholson Leno"With deft agility Cheryl Howard Crew journeys across female landscapes and cultures. She navigates with compassion and grace. It is a book buoyed and anchored by women---fierce, recognizable, and true."- Eve Ensler, author of "The Vagina Monologues""Cheryl Howard Crew writes with penetrating insight while she straps you in and takes you on a thrill ride of twists, turns, and sudden fear that doesn't let go until the last page."- Jean M.
