Mark Doty is the author of four poetry collections - including My Alexandria, which won the 1995 T. S. Eliot Prize. He has also published a prose memoir, Heaven's Coast, which won the PEN/Martha Albrand Award. He has received numerous other grants and awards for his work. He lives in Provincetown, Massachusetts and Houston, where he teaches at the University of Texas.
