About the Author

Diana Gabaldon nació en Arizona, en cuya universidad se licenció en Biología Marina y se doctoró en Zoología. Su trabajo como profesora de cuestiones de ecología le permitió tener a su alcance una vasta biblioteca, donde descubrió su afición por la literatura. Tras varios años escribiendo artículos de su profesión y cuentos humorísticos para Walt Disney, Diana comenzó a publicar en Internet los capítulos iniciales de su primera novela, Forastera. En poco tiempo, el libro se convirtió en un gran éxito de ventas. Este éxito no hizo más que aumentar con los siguientes títulos de la saga.
