About the Author

Bonnie grew up in a religion that had no power to help her overcome a serious addiction. When God showed her that Jesus took her place in death, He broke her addiction. That was 50 years ago, and it has never returned. She has been growing in the Lord through the years and attended Bible college and learned how to study the Bible. She was married to her husband for thirty years when she was widowed in 2001. Her three children are grown, and she is Grandma to five grandchildren. Since her widowhood she has been blogging her Bible studies daily at BonniesBibleMusings.blogspot.com. She has also written "Why Christianity Isn't Working for You: Going from Religion to a REAL Relationship with God." Her interest is to reach out especially to others who only have a religion but no power, and she wants them to experience the same joy and peace she has found in Christ.

I found this book to be very interesting. WhenI first started to read it, it seemed to go slowly, but as I kept reading, it intrigued me more, and Icouldn't put it down.It was so neat to watch how God workedin Babs' life, and turned her around from hersinful nature, and started using her as a Witnessto others.I could especially relate to the places mentionedin the book. It made me feel like I wasright in the middle of the story!Bonnie did a good job on giving Babs' testimonyfor the Lord. We can all relate to that partin our lives when we were in the dark, and finallysaw the light.This book will be such a good witness forothers.
