Steven L. Jackson is a highly decorated US. Army Soldier from Washington DC. He graduated from Anacostia Senior High School in 1985 and traveled the eurpoean countries. I wanted to tell a spiritualy uplifting story and maybe convince one person to change. Lawrence "Slippery", Lester and Morris Jackson all paid a high price for their drug dealing crimes. Separation from the family is a tragedy that may not have to happen. Let's stop the next generation of fatherless children in our communities from giving in to crime and ignorance. The drug war and black on black youth violence must stop. These things are hurting our young and I wish that the story of my amazing family could make someone with real power look at the drug issue from another angle. Anyone can become a drug dealer. We need more Teachers, Doctors, Scientist, Mathematicians, and Lawyers not drug dealers. I hope to write on the topics I feel could have a positive influence on a child's development. Please young people please, No more killing each other. This book is dedicated to Anna Mae Jackson, Lawrence W. Jackson Sr, and Lawrence Jr., Special thanks to my loving and supportive siblings for contributions to the material and for funding for the book. Special thanks to Saint John Baptist Church for historical text contributions and family photos. God Help the future generations.
