About the Author

Mark Gasnier is anAustralian former rugby leagueplayer,a state and national representative centre three-quarter. He played eleven top-grade seasons with the St. George Illawarra Dragons in theNRL, interrupted by two seasons of rugby union played with the French club Stade Francais. He was a member of the Dragons' NRL premiership-winning team in 2010. He retired at the end of the 2011 season. He is the nephew of the renowned St. George 1960s star Reg Gasnier.
