In his new book, Neil Perry shares some more of his favourite recipes. "Good Food" is all about beautiful, simple food to cook at home, to be enjoyed by friends and family anytime. This book is not about special occasions but about celebrating good eating every day. The colloquial tone and wealth of information offered demystify cooking and make it easy for anyone to prepare good food in the home kitchen.

This is no where close to The Food I love. Having said that, this book is good for busy people who time in the kitchen is limited. Fresh, simple and honest dishes are the main feature here. Try the yogurt cake, the spaghetti and meat balls, several duck recipes. A good cookbook to have on hand. But if you have to choose between this one and The Food I Love, choose the Food I Love since it has much more information and dedication!

I love this book - my second Neil Perry book after receiving "the Food I Love" for a gift a year or two earlier. What is great about this book is the mix of flavours - curries, stirfries, pasta etc. All of the recipes are straight forward and full of flavour, not to mention highly successful. While I also love "The Food I Love", there is not enough Asian content for my liking. Try the Barbecued King Prawns, the chicken, pork and prawn paella and the chicken braised with coconut milk with whole spices
Fantastic cook book as al Neil Perry books, worth every cent.
