Each volume includes an informative and well-written introduction to the meaning of scripture in the works of Handel, Joseph Conrad, and many others, followed by selections from the Authorized Version. While this approach may be too literary for some readers, the series ought to remind many of the joy and profit to be found in these ancient writings and of their immeasurable influence from their own day to ours.
