About the Author

The material presented in this book has been the basis of the author's work during over 12,000 hours of individual, relationship and family therapy (as a professionally certified psychologist) over the past ten years. Many of her clients have shown dramatic improvement in chronic physical symptoms, including heart conditions and rheumatoid arthritis. Deep emotional healing is at the core of her work. Clients with anxiety disorders have seen remarkable improvement: in most cases symptoms have disappeared completely. The author's work empowers others: a client who suffered from prolonged sexual abuse as a child, which she could not even discuss for the first several months in therapy, went on to become a consultant providing workshops on sexual abuse to police departments. Countless others have felt the rewards of making the acquaintance of their 'true selves' - their own souls. The ramifications for their relationships with others, especially partners and children, have been astounding. Parents, introduced to a more soulful perspective, have radically shifted their approach to parenting. Teens, introduced to this perspective, have radically changed their parents! The author's approach has further allowed many to be transformed, rather than devastated, by job loss, relationship endings, or loss of a loved one. Gwen has led numerous workshops, and has self-published three books: Dancing Soul: The Voice of Spirit Evolving, Echoes Through Time: A Message For the Healing of Men, and Baby Soul: A Blessing of Spirit. She has also produced three audiotapes: Healing the Past: A Meditation for Wholeness, After Recess: A Calming Meditation for the Elementary Classroom and A World of Kindness: Experiencing Personal and Global Harmony. A columnist for over ten years, both nationally and internationally, the author has been instrumental in leading thousands of readers along the path to more conscious ways of thinking, relating and living. She regularly receives appreciative messages from around the world from those who have been touched by her writing.
