Donna on
This tale was so well-loved, by our 3 children, after we got it from a 'garage' sale, some 20+ years ago.
The rhythm and rhyme of the little story is fun for learning, especially if spoken in rhythm. Our 2 year old granddaughter remembers this as one of the first books I read to her, when quite small. She always acts out the drumming, and the fiddles, and the hand shakes etc. and is now 'telling the story', too!
Top marks, to find a book of this calibre still in print, for more generations to enjoy!
