Reviews

Thomas and Benerjee provide a highly accessible account of the history of medical imaging from classical radiology to modern CT, MRI and PET imaging. The historic incidents are telling and well chosen, and anyone working in radiology will enjoy learning about the work and struggles of their early predecessors. * CHOICE *
When I learned that these authors were producing a book with this title I thought that I should be in for a treat. When I read it, I was not disappointed. Adrian Thomas is probably the greatest living authority on the history of x-rays, and Arpan Banerjee has enormous enthusiasm for all radiological history. This comes over in what they have written. ... This is a delightful book that informs and entertains the reader. There are lots of good illustrations - all in black and white, as befits a book on history - and I recommend it strongly. * Professor Angela Newing, SCOPE *
This book should be a must for all professional groups, especially those embarking on their career pathways and an excellent first point of contact for those interested in researching radiological history. * Stewart Whitley, RAD Magazine *
