Every home should have at least 2 copies of this book - one to keep and one to give to bereaved friends/family. So simple and practical. I've already given three copies to friends and all have been so grateful for the comfort it has brought them.
It's small, easy to read and gives excellent advice on how to cope with the various stages of any type of loss e.g. job, house, death of a loved one, divorce etc.
Highly recommended to everyone. Covers all the bases.

This book was loaned to me after the death of a very cherished Godmother. My life fell apart and this book helped me to realise that what I was going thru was so very normal. It is light enough to relieve the stress and in places had me laughing. It was so helpfull I want to buy one for myself and another to give as agift to a friend who is also suffering. But her loss is marriage.
