K. Davis spent her first thirty years in West Virginia, but romance led her to the northeast. During the next twenty years, she enjoyed her husband, raising children, homeschooling and watching her grandchildren blossom. Beaches, museums, theatres and travel broadened her life, but not nearly as what she learned about dyslexia. Becoming certified at the Masters Level in Barton Reading and Spelling, an Orton-Gillingham based system, she continues serving the dyslexia cause today. Shortly after this book was written, her husband accepted a new assignment in WV. She has returned home to hills, rhododendrons and crimson cardinals perched upon snow-covered pine.
