About the Author

Captain Scott Null grew up fishing the waters of the Galveston Bay Complex and has hunted and fished on the Texas coast his whole life. Spurred by his adventurous spirit and desire to explore new waters, he has fished all along the Gulf Coast, from the southern tip of Texas to the Florida Everglades. He also writes a monthly column on kayak fishing for Texas Saltwater Fishing Magazine and has authored several fishing articles for Paddler Magazine. Joel McBride is a passionate and knowledgeable whitewater kayaker and fisherman, having frequently paddled and fished both rivers and freshwater lakes since he was a boy growing up in Maine.
