This book was really boring "A moving and gripping drama as one family struggles to survive through the strains of the Second World War", yeah right! Who wants to read about a poor little family during the war. Books were made to be fantasy novels, interesting things that don't happen in the real world. This book was such a whiny drag and I hated it.
